My best friend and I went on a trip to the Philippines. We had lots of bags with us and getting to our destination was quite stressful. When we get there, we were at a beach destination. Crowded. We stayed at a hostel near a bar. We were greeted by many people, some good vibes, some bad. There was a bar there that was ran by someone I know here that I don't care much for. The weather was warm but it always seemed dark and cloudy, but it was during the day. We had been doing tons of activities while there (can't recall specifics). We even went in the water, which was clear and fun. We got out of the water to get ready for a departure, I talked to my aunt (on video chat) and told her we were heading over since we were only there for 2 days. Eventhough everyone was calm, everything about the place was eerie. It seemed like everyone was observing us. This was supposedly the island where I was born. I recall looking at a map and the island did not look the same as it is portrayed on the map. So while getting ready, my best friend was within close proximity of me. I turned to do something and when I turned back around, Jai literally disappeared. I initially thought it was weird but I assumed she ran to get something and continued packing. We were both wearing black, by the way. Time passed and still no signs of Jai. I was done packing and just sat and waited. I called and texted but no response so I started panicking. I talk to the locals for help and they seemed to act like they cared bur I felt it wasn't genuine. I also felt in the dream that people knew what happened but didn't want to tell me. I asked out everywhere to see if they've seen her and no luck. A man helped me with my bags on a some sort of local public transportation and all I remember was looking back on the beach village.
